Our story

Born from the
emergency room.

After years working in veterinary medicine β€” including emergency and critical care β€” I saw the same situation repeat itself: a pet brought in while their owner was away, not because someone didn't care, but because the person watching them didn't have the training to recognize the early signs.

All Tails was created to close that gap. Every member of our team has a minimum of 2 years of professional veterinary technician experience. We bring clinical eyes, calm hands, and genuine medical knowledge directly into your home.

This is care designed for pets who need more β€” and for owners who want peace of mind that is truly earned.

Common questions

Everything you
want to know.

Because every member of our team has years of veterinary technician experience, we are trained to recognize when something isn't right with your pet. We will contact you immediately to let you know what we're seeing and recommend you reach out to your veterinarian. Your pet's safety is always the priority.

Yes. Our technicians are trained and experienced in all routes of medication administration β€” oral, subcutaneous injection, intramuscular injection, subcutaneous fluids, topical, ear drops, and eye drops. If your pet has a complex medication schedule, we can handle it accurately and safely.

Rover and similar platforms allow anyone who loves animals to sign up as a sitter β€” there is no medical credential required. All Tails only works with credentialed veterinary technicians. That means every person who enters your home has years of clinical training, knows what normal and abnormal looks like in animals, and can act appropriately if something changes. It is a fundamentally different level of care.

Yes. During the visit, we'll send you photos of your pet (if they're comfortable with it) and real-time updates on how things are going. We also note observations like appetite, water intake, mobility, and how they're responding to any medications. You won't be left guessing about what happened while we were there.

Yes. We offer care for horses and large animals including medication administration, wound monitoring, and general health checks. Please mention large animal care when you reach out so we can match you with the right technician for your needs.

Fill out our contact form or email us at info@alltailspetcare.com. We respond within 24 hours and will schedule a free in-home consultation to meet your pet, review their medical history, and build a care plan. From there, your assigned technician will be consistent for every visit so your pet always has a familiar face.

We serve all of San Diego County. When you reach out, let us know your zip code and we will confirm coverage and assign the nearest available technician to your area.

Yes. Senior pets with conditions like diabetes, arthritis, kidney disease, or cardiac issues need experienced hands and regular monitoring. Our technicians are trained to monitor these conditions closely, manage medications accurately, and help maintain quality of life as your pet ages. This is exactly what we specialize in.
